What Our Customers Say

Our customers’ testimonials speak volumes about our services and commitment. Get an insight into their experiences.

Discovering DocExamine was a turning point after I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. When my doctor first informed me about my condition, the appointment was rushed and I received very little information about what to expect, necessary tests, or new medications. I was simply advised to schedule appointments with various specialists, but those meetings were months away, leaving me feeling confused and without clear guidance. Searching online only provided limited and sometimes misleading information.

With DocExamine, I received a comprehensive written report that clearly detailed the diagnosis, supported by reliable scientific research from top universities and medical experts. Additionally, I had a 30-minute video call with a caring and knowledgeable physician who patiently answered all my questions. This personalized support helped me understand the condition better and gave me the information I needed to manage my health effectively.

Having access to clear information and compassionate care made a huge difference in my health journey. I highly recommend DocExamine as an essential resource for anyone navigating their health and wellness.”

I’m so pleased with my experience using DocExamine and feel more confident managing my health now.

I received my comprehensive report on Hypothyroidism from Docexamine promptly and was truly impressed by its depth and organization. The detailed table of contents made navigating the report easy, allowing me to dive deeper into specific aspects that I wasn’t previously aware of—definitely not information that typically shows up in a regular Google search!

Having Hashimoto’s, I already had a decent understanding of my condition, yet this report opened my eyes to new insights. I especially appreciate having the physical book format; it’s been incredibly helpful to annotate and add tabs for easy reference. It’s reassuring knowing I can bring it all conveniently to my next doctor’s appointment.

Highly recommend DocExamine to anyone looking to thoroughly understand their health condition!

Frequently Asked Questions

We have compiled a list of frequently asked questions to help you find instant answers to your queries

What is DocExamine?

DocExamine is a service that provides access to expert-reviewed summaries of publicly available medical information related to specific diagnoses. Our service is purely informational and is intended to help individuals better understand general aspects of a medical condition. We do not provide any form of diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice.

How does the service work?

After submitting your request and completing payment, we gather and summarize relevant medical information based on the diagnosis provided by you. You will receive a detailed report via email and mail. A scheduled 30-45 minute conversation with a medical expert will help clarify any questions about the information provided. Please note that this conversation is for informational purposes only.

What types of medical information do you provide?

We provide expert-reviewed summaries of literature regarding specific medical conditions and diagnoses. This service is purely educational and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or offer specific advice related to individual health conditions.

Can I just purchase a review of the medical literature with a doctor without purchasing a copy of the literature?

No.  Our service is one of reviewing and translating medical information summaries. Without this literature there is nothing to review as we do not provide diagnosis, treatment, or even consultation on individual ailments.  To ensure you and the Doctor are reviewing the same literature, a new literature review must be purchased time.

Who reviews the medical information?

Medical information summaries are reviewed by qualified experts and doctors in the relevant field. These experts offer general insights about the condition, but do not provide personalized medical advice or services related to diagnosis, treatment, or medical care.

Is DocExamine a telemedicine service and can you provide a referral?

No, DocExamine is not a telemedicine service. We do not diagnose, treat, or manage medical conditions. We strictly provide non-clinical, educational summaries of medical information to enhance general understanding of a diagnosis.  No, we cannot provide referrals or any other clinical service.

How much does the service cost?

The cost of our service is $749.99 for standard processing and $999.99 for expedited service. Follow-on calls, focused on reviewing additional or updated information, are available for $499.99. All services are for informational purposes only and do not include diagnosis, treatment, or medical recommendations.

How long does it take to receive the medical information review?

Our standard processing time is 5-7 business days, while expedited requests can be fulfilled faster. Please note that our service provides general medical information summaries and does not include personalized medical advice or treatment.

Can I share the medical information review with my healthcare provider?

Yes and no.  You are granted a license for personal use of the information we provide.  As such you may share the information with your healthcare provider solely to promote your discussions with them, however, this information is strictly educational and non-clinical. It is not intended to influence, guide, aid or substitute for professional medical judgment or treatment recommendations.  While you are granted a license to the material for personal use, no commercial reproduction or third-party dissemination is allowed.

Is my personal medical information secure?

We do not accept any personal medical information as part of our service.  Orders that contain such information are canceled.

What should I do if I have additional questions after my doctor call?

Follow-on literature reviews can be purchased in the same process as your initial purchase at a discounted rate.

How is DocExamine different from a doctor’s appointment in person?

DocExamine provides non-clinical summaries of publicly available medical information for general educational purposes. We do not diagnose or treat medical conditions, nor do we provide personalized medical advice.  Our clients appreciate the ease of access and high-quality information. For clinical evaluation or treatment, we recommend consulting a healthcare provider in your area.

Can DocExamine provide a second opinion?

No, DocExamine does not provide medical opinions, second opinions, or clinical consultations. Our service offers a summary of general medical information related to a diagnosis but does not replace or supplement professional medical evaluations or recommendations.

Do I need a referral from my doctor to use DocExamine?

No, as an information communication site, a referral is not required.

What should I expect from the call with the medical expert?

The call with the medical expert is an opportunity to discuss and clarify the general medical information summarized in the report. It is strictly informational and does not include diagnoses, treatment recommendations, or any form of medical advice.  Instead, the doctor will seek to translate the complex medical jargon and help you to understand the literature better.

Does DocExamine cover all medical conditions?

DocExamine strives to do an in-depth literature search on any topic of client interest; however, for some conditions, the actual documents may be quite limited or of low quality.  In that case, DocExamine may need to look at and review a more broadly understood condition with you.

Can DocExamine help me decide on a treatment plan?

No.  While DocExamine provides information on common treatments, studies, and conditions, DocExamine does not consider or examine you, or provide treatment plans or recommendations. Our service is strictly non-clinical and informational, offering insights into medical information.  DocExamine can help you to understand the medical world better and get you asking better questions, however, for treatment decisions, consult your healthcare provider.

Is DocExamine affiliated with any healthcare providers or institutions?

DocExamine is an independent service and is not affiliated with any healthcare providers, hospitals, or medical institutions. We solely provide non-clinical, educational summaries of medical information to help individuals gain a general understanding of medical conditions.

Can I request information on multiple medical conditions?
